Charitable Status Approved

We’re now a SCIO (Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation). It means that we can now purchase the building if all the reports and surveys are favourable, and our architect gives the go-ahead for our plans. It also broadens the range of funders we can approach for grants to buy the building and start work on it.

Our charity number is SC054786.

Fundraising Events

We have a number of fundraisers coming up in the new year – A Burns Night in January with a difference, A band night in February and a musical bingo night in March. Click here for details.

We are so grateful to the wonderful funders who have awarded The South Parish Church Community Purchase Group very generous grants to allow us to hold public engagement events and to make it possible to do all the surveys, reports and architectural work that will pave the way for us to purchase the South Parish Church.
